• The game is just the fourth for the Beavers against an Atlantic Coast Conference foe since 2007. The Beavers defeated Maryland, 21-14, in the 2007 Emerald Bowl in San Francisco. OSU lost at California last season and at Reser Stadium to open the 2025 season.

• Saturday's homecoming game against Wake Forest opens a four-game homestand for the Beavers, who will also take on Lafayette, Washington State and Sam Houston over that stretch.
• It's the first four-game homestand for the Beavers since the start of the 1997 season. OSU opened with a win over North Texas, followed by losses to Stanford and Arizona State before a win over San Jose State.

• The 179 yards mark the 15th-best single-game effort in Oregon State's history. The 13 catches, meanwhile, tie for the fourth-most ever by a Beaver. Only Mike Hass (14 in 2004 versus Arizona State), Brandin Cooks (14 in 2013 versus San Diego State) and Isaiah Hodgins (14 versus Nevada in 2018) have more.
Against App State
•  David Wells Jr.'s rushing score in the second quarter marked his first career on the ground. He then scored his second of the game on a 3-yard pass just before halftime, the fourth overall of his career.
• Wells Jr. became the first Beaver to rush for a score and catch a pass for a TD since Deshaun Fenwick in 2023 versus Stanford. Wells Jr. is just the 11th Beaver to accomplish the feat since 2010, and only the fifth wide receiver.
•  Cornell Hatcher Jr. scored his second career touchdown, and first via the pass, in the third quarter.
•  Zakaih Saez recorded his first sack of the season in the third quarter. It was also the second sack of his career.
•  Saez's third-quarter sack marked the seventh of the season for the Beavers, equaling the team's tally in all of 2024.
•  Jake Reichle made his first career start.Â
•  Tyler Voltin made his first start of the season and third of his career.
•  The Beavers' 93-yard scoring drive in the second quarter marked the team's longest by yardage this season.
•  The safety in the fourth quarter was the first for an Oregon State defense since 2017 against Washington State.
• The Beavers had an average third-down distance of 4.1 yards while App State's was 10.3.
• OSU averaged a season-best 6.5 yards per play, and 8.0 yards per pass.
Walker After Six
• Trent Walker comes into Saturday's matchup with 43 catches on the year, placing him third nationally. He's also fourth with 584 total yards.
• He's at 129 catches for his career and is honing on becoming the 12th player in Oregon State history with at least 151.
• Walker leads the nation with 124 receptions since the start of the 2024 season. His 1,485 receiving yards are good for third among active players.
Sacks Note
• Oregon State tallied two sacks against App State, giving the Beavers five over the last two games.
• Those two sacks also give the Beavers eight on the year, one more than the team's total over 12 games a year ago.
• Oregon State has posted at least one in each of the last three games, a streak that was last accomplished in 2023-24; the Sun Bowl to complete the 2023 season and the first two games of the 2024 campaign. The Beavers last had mutiples in back-to-back games in 2023.
