Beavers Fall to Demon Deacons

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State dropped a 39-14 decision to Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers used a pair of touchdowns – one on the ground and the other via the air - to get on the board in the fourth quarter. Cornell Hatcher Jr. ran it in from 29 yards out for his second career score before David Wells Jr. hauled in a four-yard reception from Gabarri Johnson.
Wells led the receiving corps with six catches for 58 yards and the score while Anthony Hankerson had a team-best 101 yards on the ground. Maalik Murphy led the signal-callers with 130 yards through the air on 13 completions.
With eight total tackles, Aiden Sullivan paced the defense in the category while Skyler Thomas tallied a team-best six solo stops.
Oregon State will stay home next week – Saturday, October 11th - against Lafayette.
