Beavers Conclude Indoor Regular Season with Split Weekend

CORVALLIS – The Oregon State track & field team wraps up the regular season portion of the indoor schedule this weekend at both the Husky Classic in Seattle on Friday and Saturday, as well as the Don Kirby Classic in Albuquerque, N.M.
Live results will be provided for both events, as well as a subscription-based live streaming service provided by FloTrack. Links to both can be found on our schedule page here.
Don Kirby Classic
The two-day event kicks off on Friday afternoon for the Beavers at 4 p.m. with a trio of events. The jumps crew, consisting off Ann Wingeleth, Emma Nelson, Saskia McNairy and Claire Corbitt get the weekend started with the high jump and long jump.
Jessica Molina, Lindsay McShane, Keely McLaughlin and Sydney Guthrie-Baker compete at the same time in the field events for the weight throw.
The Beavers are taking some sprinters along for the trip who will compete in the 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m and 400m. Lauren Miller, Rachel Krill, Tarisa Olinski, McNairy and Corbitt will compete in the running events.
Husky Classic
A smaller contingent of student-athletes will once again make the trek north to Seattle for the Husky Classic. The two-day event jumps off on Friday afternoon with the pole vault at 3 p.m. Tory Edwards and Audrey Bright are the only entrants for OSU in the pole vault.
Audrey Lookner and Brigette Takeuchi compete shortly after at 3:30 p.m. in the 3,000 meters. On Saturday, Rebecca Ledsham competes in the 800 meters, while Lexi Reed, Mari Friedman, Grace Fetherstonhaugh and Haley Wolf run the mile.

The Beavers are taking an off week following the end of the regular season, and will compete at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships on Feb. 22-23 in Seattle.
