•   Started 34 games and appeared in 37 mainly at second base.
•   Recorded her first career hit against Sacramento State on Feb. 9.
•   Hit her first home run against BYU on March 31.
•   Went 2-for-2 against Portland State on May 3.
Richland HS
•   Started three years at shortstop and her senior year at third base for head coach Casey Emery.
•   Was named team captain in 2016 and also conference MVP.
•   Four-time all-conference and all-area.
•   Three-time team offensive MVP.
•   Team MVP her senior year.Â
Club
•   Played three years for the Washington Force and four years for the Washington Angels.
•   Helped earn a ninth place finish in the ASA Gold Nationals in 2016 with the Angels.

•   Daughter of Alicia and Steve Merwin.
•   Her mother is a radiation therapist and her dad is a health physicist.
•   Has one younger sister, Hannah.
•   Majoring in aerospace engineering.

•   Favorite athlete is Travis Buck.
•   Chose Oregon State because "I wanted to go to a school with a strong engineering program. I also loved the softball coaches and the beautiful campus."
