Freshman Joscelyn Roberson, who was an alternate for Team USA at the Olympic games this summer, is the team's leading all-arounder thanks to a 39.392 average that includes a 9.868 average on both beam and floor, while Mati Waligora (9.912) and Frankie Price (9.904) are both averaging higher than a 9.900 for the Razorbacks' sixth-ranked floor lineup.
Arizona sits at No. 19 in the latest rankings, which includes a pair of top 20 team rankings on both bars and beam. Alysen Fears (9.861) and Elena Deets (9.843) both lead the bars squad in average while Abigayle Martin's 9.846 is the highest average on beam for the GymCats. Arizona was last in action on Feb. 14, scoring a 195.900 at home against Iowa State.
Southeast Missouri State is coming off its best performance of the seas, scoring a 193.875 at home against Centenary and Northern Illinois. The Redawks' leading all-arounder is Taylor Ingle, averaging a 38.578, while also leading the team on floor (9.800) and vault (9.778).
ROAD DOGS:
The Metroplex Challenge marks meet number two out of four-consecutive road competitions, as OSU will also compete in the Stanford Quad (Feb. 28) and at San Jose State. The Beavers have now been on the road three times this season, opening the year with a second-place finish at the Oceanside Invite against then-ranked No. 4 California and No. 10 UCLA before scoring a 196.975 at Auburn and 196.950 in Denver.
Oregon State next competes inside Gill Coliseum against Air Force on March 15.
HOMECOMING:
Two Oregon State gymnasts, Carley Beeman and Lauren Letzsch, call Golden, Colo., home. Just 15 miles separate Golden and Denver, the site of the Beavers' last meet. Performing in front of family and friends alike, Beeman exhibitioned on the uneven bars while Letzsch scored a 9.825 for the Beaver beam lineup, helping OSU score a 196.950 and finish second in the four-team event.
AGAIN?
When OSU was last in action at the Denver Quad, senior Jade Carey did something she had done four times previously in 2025: she earned a 9.975. The near perfect score brings her season total up to five in total thanks to four 9.975 scores on beam and one on bars.
Carey also won event titles on both beam and in the all-around for the seventh time in seven meets, bringing her season total up to 24 event titles, which ranks ninth in program history for a single season; she has now reached the top 10 in single season event titles in each of her four seasons competing as a Beaver.
STARTING STRONG:
Oregon State started on bars in Denver, just the second time this season that the Beaver bars have opened a meet, with the last coming at then ranked No. 12 Auburn. On Friday, the rotation ended with a 49.275 team score, counting no lower than a 9.825. That momentum continued into beam in the second rotation, when OSU once again put up a solid performance that ended with a 49.350 on beam.
Across the first two rotations, every single one of the 12 routines earned at least a 9.800, while all 10 counted scores were a 9.825 or higher.
CONSISTENT CONTRIBUTOR:
Francesca Caso was part of that first rotation bars lineup, earning a 9.825 to make it four-consecutive appearances with a score of 9.825. Having made four exhibition appearances on bars as a sophomore, the junior has now appeared in five meets in 2025, averaging a 9.790, while earning a 9.750 in her lone exhibition against BYU.
RESPONSE:
After competing on bars in each of her first 18 meets as a Beaver, Taylor DeVries made her first exhibition appearance against Washington and Alaska on Feb. 10. One week later, DeVries was back in the lineup and responded, leading the rotation off and earning a 9.825, her second 9.825-plus of the year; the Roscoe, Ill., native also competed on floor.
STEADY AND COMPOSED:
Sophia Esposito competed three events on Sunday, earning a pair of 9.850s on beam and floor to go with a 9.775 vault score. The reigning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, Esposito now has a 9.850 or better on both beam and floor in four-consecutive meets, and enters Friday's meet with averages of 9.796 on vault, 9.836 on beam and 9.875 on floor.
SUPER SAGE:
One week after twice reaching her career high on floor, Sage Thompson's strong run of form continued in Denver, as the Lehi, Utah, native earned a 9.875 on that apparatus to go with a 9.850 on the bars and vaulting her way to a 9.775. Sunday's routine marked five-consecutive meets with a 9.850 or better on floor while the bars score was her fourth 9.850-plus of the season, and she now ranks 51st nationally on bars, averaging 9.843, and 33rd on floor with a 9.861 average.
NEED 'EM ALL:
Through seven meets in 2025, there are nine Beaver student-athletes with a perfect hit rate, defined as routines earning a 9.650 or higher. Carey leads the way at 28-28 while Thompson (21-21), Esposito (19-19) and Natalie Briones (14-14) all are in double digits. As a team, OSU has hit on 161 of 168 total routines, a rate of 95.8%.
STANDOUTS:
Several Beavers are among the nation's elite on their respective events. Sage Thompson sits in a tie for 51st place on bars while Lauren Letzsch (t-33) and Jennifer McMillan (t-50) have exceled on beam. Sophia Esposito is in a tie for 47th on floor while Jade Carey ranks top-10 in all five categories, which includes a pair of top rankings: she's tied for eighth on vault, tied for third on bars, seventh on floor and is the nation's leader in the all-around and on beam.
UP NEXT:
The road slate continues for Oregon State as the Gym Beavs head to Stanford, Calif., to compete against California, UC Davis and hosts Stanford on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.; the team's month on the road concludes with a March 9 competition at San Jose State.
