
Beavers Gear Up for Pac-12 Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore.– After their best performance in school history last year, Oregon State is set to travel west for Pac-12 Championships in Boulder, Colorado this weekend.

With six regional qualifiers, the Beavs are ready for the action throughout the weekend, with events running from Friday to Sunday. Anneke Moersdorf will represent OSU in the Heptathlon on Friday and Saturday.

After a record-breaking weekend for Oregon State, the squad finished the weekend with 55 points and in eighth place, their best finishes in both categories in school history.

Jade Whitfield put her name in the record books with the Beavers's best Pac-12 Championships thrower, placing second in discus with a 57.75m/189-5.

Grace Fetherstonhaugh became OSU's first women's Pac-12 Champion, outracing teammate Kaylee Mitchell in the last lap. The Beavs' dynamic duo went 1-2, securing 18 points for Oregon State in one event.
