INDEPENDENCE, Ore. – A young group of Oregon State runners put together a solid performance on Saturday at the George Oja Linfield Invite.

"Happy with the group today. If you were to count our unattached group, we'd have been 4th as a team and a 60 sec split 1-5. We really had a very solid day."

Katie Kopec led the runners from OSU with a 12th place finish, followed among the unattached runners by Gracie Buzzell in 19th place.

Aleen Golla paced the two runners in uniform, placing 16th, followed by Hannah Hernandez in 26th. The race featured Golla, a redshirt junior, and five Beaver freshmen.
