Beavs Close September in South Bend, Open October in Salem

CORVALLIS – Nearly all of the available Beavers will be on the course this weekend as Oregon State competes in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite and Charles Bowles Invitational on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The Beavs in South Bend will face a loaded field that includes top-ranked NC State, No. 3 New Mexico, No. 8 Notre Dame and No. 10 Alabama. Ten of the 25 teams racing either are ranked or received votes in the latest USTFCCCA coaches' poll, including OSU at No. 27.

Oregon State is sending Kaylee Mitchell, Grace Fetherstonhaugh, Christina Geisler, Emily van Valkenburg, Aleen Golla, Zoe Simmons, Liv Downing, Kate Intile and Olivia Johnson to Indiana. The meet is slated to begin at 7:30am PT.

Another contingent of Beavs will compete at the Charles Bowles Invitational on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Last year, Oregon State placed fourth in the event with Golla topping the Beavers in seventh place.

This season, Eliza Eckman, Delia DeLeon, Gabby Peterson, Jamie Hamlin, Ellie Quintana, Payton Smith and Libby Rinck will race in Salem. Live results for the Charles Bowles Invite will be available here and meet information, including a course map can be found here.
