
Beavers Headed to Two Meets in Arizona this Weekend

CORVALLIS – It is yet another busy weekend for the Oregon State University track and field team as they travel south to Arizona for the Jim Click Multi-Events in Tucson on Thursday and Friday, as well as the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe on Friday and Saturday.
Jim Click Multi-Events
Heptathlon specialists Claire Corbitt and Saskia McNairy will be the only competitors at the Jim Click Multi-Events in Tucson, before rejoining the team in Tempe on Friday.
The pair will compete on Thursday beginning at 10:30 a.m. with the 100-meter hurdles, and finish out the day with the high jump, shot put and 200 meters. On Friday, the long jump will kick off the second day of events at 11:30 a.m., and continues with the javelin and 800 meters.

Sun Angel Classic
A larger contingent of student-athletes will forego competing at the Jim-Click Multis and will instead head to Tempe for the Sun Angel Classic on Friday and Saturday.
In total, 19 competitors are slated to compete over the two-day event which begins on Friday at 12 p.m. with the women's premiere hammer throw. FloTrack will be providing live stream coverage of the event for a subscription, and can be viewed here.
