OSU Continues Road Trip to Colorado Sunday

THIS WEEKEND
• The Beavers continue Pac-12 Conference action Sunday at Colorado at 12:00 p.m., (PT).
• The match will be broadcast on Colorado Live Stream.

A WIN ON THURSDAY WOULD
• Be the 244th win in program history.
• Be the Beavers sixth win of the season and second win away from Paul Lorenz Field.
• Be the Beavers first win in Pac-12 Conference play. All of OSU's league's matches have been against undefeated teams.
• Be OSU's fourth win against Colorado, (6th meeting).
• Be the Beavers second win at Colorado, (3rd time).
• Be HC Linus Rhode's fourth win over Colorado, (2011, '12, '15).

SCOUTING THE BUFFS
• Colorado enters Sunday's match with a 10-3 overall mark and 4-0 in Pac-12 action.
• CU's four wins in the Pac-12 is tied for the second most since joining the conference in 2011, (six wins in 2014).
• The Buffs recorded its fourth-straight win in loop play last Thursday after they defeated Oregon, 3-1.
• CU started its Pac-12 slate with a three-consecutive 1-0 victories against Washington State, Arizona and ASU.
• The Buffs carry an 8-2 record in their last 10 matches. Their last lost was a 2-1 overtime loss against Michigan State on Sept. 1.
• Colorado has shutout six of its opponents so far this season.
• CU holds a goal advantage, outscoring its opponents, 25-9 and holding them to a 0.69 goals scored per game.
• The Buffs also rank second in the Pac-12 in shots with 214, fourth in points recording 67 and fifth in goals with 25.
• Redshirt freshman, Jalen Tompkins leads the Buff in between the pipes, tallying five shutouts and grabbing 52 saves.
• Freshman Taylor Kornieck, paces the Buffs with nine goals and 20 points this season. She currently ranks tied for first in the Pac-12 in both.
• HC for the Buffs is Danny Sanchez in his fifth season and holds a 53-35-10 overall record.

COLORADO SERIES HISTORY
• Sunday's match will mark the six meeting between Oregon State and Colorado.
• Oregon State holds a 3-2 all-time record in a new series that started back in 2011.
• Colorado came to the Pacific-12 in 2011 after being a member of the Big-12 since 1996.
• The Beavs started the series in with a 2-0 home victory.
• In 2012, OSU recorded its first victory at Boulder with a 2-0 win.
• OSU suffered its first loss of the series with a 2-1 loss in 2013 in Boulder.
• The Beavers recorded its first loss and shutout of the series at home in 2014, with a 1-0 defeat.
• The Beavers last win in the series was a season ago, with a 2-0 victory at Paul Lorenz Field.
• One goal has decided just two of the five matches and there has yet to be an overtime match.
• All of OSU's three wins come by a 2-0 score.
• The series it fairly equal in goals, as the Beavers hold a 7-3 advantage against CU.

FOLLOW THE RHODE
• OSU head coach Linus Rhode is in his ninth season.
• He has guided the Beavers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet-16 run in 2009.
• He is 3-2 all-time against Colorado.
• He carries a 77-79-20 overall record and is 28-52-6 in Pac-12 matches.

ROSTER BREAKDOWN
• OSU head coach Linus Rhode welcomes 12 players that started a match and 15 letterwinners back from the 2015-16 season.
• The squad will also welcome six newcomers to start their careers at Oregon State.
• The Beavers have 26 student-athletes on the roster, including 10-of-13 players that appeared in all-19 or 18 matches last season.
• Of the 26 SA's on this year's roster, three started every match last year.

LAST WEEK
• Oregon State continued Pac-12 action last Thursday night at Utah and suffered a,1-0 loss.

UP NEXT
• The Beavers will continue loop action next week as they host No. 1 Stanford on Friday, Oct. 14, starting at 7:00 p.m.
