
Ashlee Pickerell In Top 10 At Pac-12 Preview

KONA, Hawai'i. – Ashlee Pickerell shot a pair of 1-over 74's at the two-day, 54-hole Pac-12 Preview on Monday to lead the Oregon State women's golf team in their final tournament of the fall season.
Pickerell, a senior from Salem, Ore., had two birdies and three bogeys in the morning and afternoon rounds at the par-73, 6,372-yard Nanea Golf Club to put her in a tie for ninth place in the 59-player field.
Oregon State sits in eighth place in the 10-team field, which features seven ranked teams, with a 31-over 304-311--615. The Beavers have a five-stroke advantage over intrastate rival and No. 35 Oregon, which shot a 36-over 309-311--620.
The final round is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. HT (11:30 a.m. PT) on Tuesday with a shotgun start. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
The other four Oregon State golfers are all bunched together heading into Tuesday's final round. Freshman Olivia Benzin is tied for 35th place with a 9-over 77-78--155, senior Chelsea Saelee is tied for 38th with a 10-over 76-80--156, sophomore Hannah Swanson is in 40th with an 11-over 78-79--157 and sophomore Haley Nist is tied for 41st with a 12-over 77-81--158.
No. 3 UCLA and No. 15 Arizona State are tied for the team lead with a 9-over 593, while Charlotte Thomas of Washington dominated the course to take a six-stroke individual lead with a 7-under 70-69--139.
