No. 11 Softball Wins Two At Fiesta Bowl Classic

TEMPE, Ariz. - The 11th-ranked Oregon State softball remains undefeated at the Fiesta Bowl Classic after posting two victories on Saturday. The Beavers picked up a 2-0 win over Tennessee-Chattanooga in the afternoon before earning a 9-6 win over Texas A&M later in the evening.
Jenni Jodoin hit her first home run of the season and picked up five RBI with a 2-for-4 performance in the win over Texas A&M, while Brooke Rutschman, Tarrah Beyster and Cara Maxey also had two hits apiece in that game.
Beyster, who also doubled in the win over UTC, was the winning pitcher in both games. She pitched the complete game against Texas A&M, allowing 10 hits with five strikeouts. She relieved starter Crystal Draper in the fourth inning of the game against UTC to earn that win as well. Beyster's record stands at 3-1 on the season after the two wins.
The Beavers (4-1-1) conclude competition at the Fiesta Bowl Classic with a 9 a.m. PST game against Wisconsin on Sunday, February 13.
