Outdoors: Competed in the shot put, discus and hammer … Set the school record in the discus with a throw of 168’ at the OSU High Performance Meet (May 2) … That toss was nearly 13 feet better than Beth Nygren’s 155’ 2” set in Corvallis on May 7, 1988 – the previous Oregon State record … It was also was eighth in the nation among freshmen, second among U20 collegians and met the qualifying standard for 2014 USATF Outdoor Junior Championships and IAAF World Junior Championships in Eugene … The school-record mark qualified her for the NCAA West Regional preliminaries, where she came in seeded 42nd and finished 30th with a throw of 158’ 6” … Shot put PR of 43’ 5.75” from the John Knight Twilight (April 11) is seventh in OSU history … Joined Kam Johnson are the only OSU women to be in the top seven of each of the shot put and discus … Hammer PR of 143’ 10.25” also came at the John Knight Twilight (April 11), where she finished fifth … Along with Rachel Picknell and Kayla Fleskes, was part of OSU’s first-ever group of female hammer throwers. Indoors: Competed in the shot put and weight throw at the UW Preview (Jan. 18), UW Invitational (Feb. 1) and Husky Classic (Feb. 15) … Indoor shot put PR came at the UW Preview (38’ 8.25”), when she finished 13th overall … Weight throw PR of 50’ 11.50” from the UW Invite was first in her flight and ninth overall.
