Went 4-1 at Mike Clock, taking home second place honors in the 157 lb. weight class, 1-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 16) and 4-0 at the Clackamas Open, finishing in first ... Ended season winning seven of his last eight bouts, going 3-1 at the California Collegiate Open in San Francisco (Feb 2), where he finished second.
