Competed at 149 pounds; went 28-12 overall ... wrestled in a Pac-12 match against Boise State, earning a decision victory over Travis Himmelman ... went 4-2 at the Mike Clock Open (fourth), 4-2 at the Eastern Michigan Open (fourth), 5-1 at the Spokane Open (third), 3-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions, 2-2 at the Southern Scuffle, 4-1 at the Clackamas Open (third), and 6-1 at the California Collegiate Open (third) ... had 18 decisions, eight major decisions, and three pins.

Redshirted; competed unattached at open tournaments at 149 lbs., going 15-4 with nine decisions, a major decision and a tech fall, with three pins ... fastest fall came against MSU Northern's Trevor Goss (2:28), during the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 16) ... finished season on an eight-match win streak ... went 4-1 at the Mike Clock Open (Nov. 12), taking third place honors, 3-0 during the Reno Tournament of Champions, and 5-1, finishing in third place at the Clackamas Open (Jan. 20) ... won individual weight class title at California Collegiate Open in San Francisco (Feb. 2), by going 3-0.
