2013: Stephanie returned from an Achilles’ injury to perform some of the best gymnastics of her career as a fifth-year senior … earned All-Pac-12 First Team on the uneven bars … contributed to vault and bars lineups … scored a 9.925 on the bars and a season-best 9.825 on the vault at the Metroplex Challenge (1/26/13) … set career-high 9.95 on the bars at the Pac-12 Championships (3/23/13) … earned Pac-12 All-Academic First Team … named Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete … named the PlayMaker of the Month for the month of April by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports … earned NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship … “hit” 18 out of 20 routines in 2013.
2011: Stephanie established herself as the ultimate leadoff for the Beavers’ uneven bars lineup in 2011, which finished the season ranked No. 1 in the nation … scored a then-career-best 9.875 on the bars at the Salbasgeon Suites Invitational (2/25/11) … scored 9.80 or better in nine meets, including the last six of the season … performed as the leadoff for the vault lineup scoring a season-best 9.775 three times … an alternate for a very deep floor exercise lineup, scored a season-high 9.725 against Ohio State (1/14/11) … CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team … Pac-10 All-Academic First Team … awarded the Waldo-Cummings Award, the most prestigious acknowledgement given to undergraduate students at OSU … “hit” 29 out of 31 routines.
2010: Stephanie remained an integral part of the vault lineup competing in all 14 meets on the event … performed on the floor nine times, tying her career-best 9.825 at LSU (3/5/10) … competed in the bars lineup for the first time in her career against Arizona (2/12/10) and scored 9.70 … “hit” 22 out of 24 routines.
2009: Stephanie quickly established herself as an integral part of the vault and floor exercise lineups … performed mostly as the lead-off in both lineups … peaked on the vault during the postseason scoring a then-career-high 9.80 vault at Pac-10 Championships (3/21/09) and improved that mark at the NCAA Central Regional (4/4/09) at Ohio State with a 9.85 … scored a season-best 9.825 on the floor against Utah (1/30/09) … “hit” 27 out of 27 routines.
PREP CAREER: Trained at Gymtastics Gym Club under coaches Tammy Andreotti and Karen Haverstock for two years and at Altadore Gymnastics for 10 years under the same coaches ... in 2008, qualified for Senior High Performance List ... finished sixth on the floor exercise at the 2007 Canada Winter Games ... finished first on floor, second on bars and fourth in the all-around at the 2007 National Open ... was a nationals qualifier 2005-08.
PERSONAL: Born in Calgary … daughter of Maureen and Bob McGregor … has one brother, Michael … father, Bob, is a social worker … on the honor roll through high school … plays the piano ... chose OSU because “of the strong academics and athletics; it isn’t too far from home and I loved the team and coaches when I came to visit” … is studying bioengineering in OSU’s Honors College.
