
Brooks Named WCC Runner of the Week

CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Sage Brooks has been named West Coast Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Brooks placed first in the Beavers' first event of the fall, stopping the clock in 17:00.64 at the Lewis and Clark XC Opener on Friday. She led a group of five Oregon State runners who finished at the top of the leaderboard.
Brooks was also selected to the WCC Preseason Team in mid-August. The Beavers will be back in action Sept. 12 at the Ash Creek Collegiate.
