
Lake Leads Men’s Golf After A Shortened Day Two In La Quinta

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Jackson Lake is leading the Oregon State men's golf team for a second-consecutive day on Tuesday, one that was shortened due to the wind at the par-71 Prestige tournament at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West.
OSU was one of 12 teams unable to complete 18 holes on Tuesday, with OSU's competitors finishing between 12 and 15 holes before being sent to the clubhouse due to the winds.
After nearly two full days, the Beavers are 17th with an 18-over team score.
Lake and teammates Rylan Johnson and Collin Hodgkinson are the only Beavers to finish 15 holes on Tuesday. Lake shot a 2-over 61 over those 15, and is tied for 39th with a 2-over 132.
Hodgkinson, meanwhile, tallied a 5-over 64 over those 15 holes, and finds himself in a tie for 82nd with an 8-over 138 thus far. He is tied with teammate Carson Barry, who managed to finish 12 holes. He is also 8-over with a 3-over 51 over the 12 holes on Tuesday.
Johnson posted a 5-over 64 in his 15 holes of play, and is tied for 74th with a 7-over 137 after 33 holes.
Mateo Fuenmayor finished with a 1-over 49 on 12 holes, which included a birdie at the par-5 12th, which was his last hole of the afternoon. He is tied for 50th heading into Wednesday via a 3-over 122.
