Clemson Invitational Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather

CLEMSON, S.C. – After multiple delays in the racing schedule due to inclement weather and debris on the course, it was decided on Saturday that the 2019 Clemson Invitational would be cancelled.
"We are really disappointed about the racing being canceled as we were extremely eager to test ourselves against some great teams," said head coach Kate Maxim. "I can't emphasize enough how important the Longhorn Invite opportunity is for us and we have already shifted our focus on preparing for next weekend."
Racing was initially scheduled to begin on Friday, but after storms moved into the area it forced the schedule back, and today was decided the course and conditions didn't suite competition.
"We are enjoying time together in Clemson," said Maxim. "We are grateful to Clemson University for allowing us to train out of their boathouse for the next few day."

The Beavers are again on the road next weekend for the Longhorn Invitational hosted by the University of Texas on Saturday, April 27.
