"I thought we approached this game the right way," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "We've had a couple great days of practice, and playing your first road game is a new experience. We did a nice job of controlling tempo today, and I thought that was the biggest key for us. I was really proud of the effort."
Sophomore Kat Tudor recorded her first career double-double, setting career highs in both points and rebounds with 23 and 11, respectively. Junior Joanna Grymek went 7-for-7 from the floor to finish with 16 points, six rebounds and three blocks.
