Roadrunners edge OSU 21-20

The teams tied 20-20 but the Roadrunners (10-3, 3-0 Pac-12), earned the victory by criteria, as they had one more six-point win than the Beavers (8-6, 2-2), a pin by Bryce Hammond at 174 pounds.
Redshirt freshman Corey Griego (184) won by technical fall and redshirt junior Joey Palmer (133) and redshirt sophomores Abraham Rodriguez (157) and Amarveer Dhesi (hwt.) won by major decision to earn bonus points. Sophomore Ronnie Bresser (133) also won his match.
Palmer, Griego, Rodriguez and Dhesi each won all three of their matches on the road trip, which concluded OSU's road duals for the regular season.
It was Bakersfield's first win in the series since Jan. 18, 2008, and its first at home over OSU since Dec. 12, 1998. It also snapped OSU's three-match winning streak.
OSU's next home dual is Feb. 11 against Oklahoma. The Beavers host Air Force on Feb. 14, then conclude the regular season with the Feb. 21 Border War against Boise State, also at Gill Coliseum.
