Oregon State Competes at Beaver Classic

CORVALLIS, Ore. -

A group of runners from the Oregon State women's cross country team competed Saturday at the Beaver Classic at Avery Park in Corvallis.

Four runners ran representing Oregon State with Emily Olsen pacing the group with a time of 25.57 in the Beaver Classic Women's 6K XC run. Regina Lopez finished with a time of 23.32.

Lorine Cruze and Ariel Clark finished out the group running for Oregon State with times of 24:03 and 24:14 respectively. Sabrina Lopez ran unattached and finished in 24th place with a time of 22:49.

The Beavers compete next Saturday at the Pacific-10 Conference cross country championships in Seattle, Wash. at the Jefferson Park Golf Course. The meet is hosted by the University of Washington and the race will start at 10 a.m.
