Track Opens Outdoor Season With Two Individual Wins

The Oregon State track and field team opened their outdoor season at the Linfield Icebreaker, coming away with wins in the 800 meter run and the high jump.

Track Will Split The Weekend; Welcome Back Olympians

The Oregon State track and field team will be splitting up this weekend with a group traveling to Seattle, Wash. for the last indoor meet and another group heading to McMinnville, Ore. to start the outdoor season.

OREGON STATE CROSS COUNTRY:

2010: Competed once in the 6,000 meters at the Linfield Preview.

2009: Redshirted the cross country season ... Competed unattached at the Mike Hodges Invitational.

OREGON STATE OUTDOOR TRACK:

2011: Competed in six meets ... Competed in the 3,000 meter steeplechase three times ... Best finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase was 11:48.15 at the SFS Distance Carnival (3/25) ... Best time in the 3,000 meter steeplechase was a first place finish at the Linfield Icebreaker (3/4) ... Competed in the 1,500 meters twice with her best time and finish at the John Knight Twilight (4/8) placing sixth with a time of 4:57.77 ... Competed once in the 2,000 meter steeplechase at the Oregon Preview (3/16) finishing in fifth with a time of 7:42.98 ... Earned Pac-10 All-Academic Honorable Mention.
