Swimming to Compete at US Short Course Nationals

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's swimming team faces off with some of the best swimmers in the nation including members of the US Olympic team this week at the 2009 AT&T Short Course National Championships Nov. 3-5. The championships will be held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. The Beavers last hit the pool at the Toshiba Classic Nov. 19-21 in Long Beach, Calif. Junior Ashley Kerekanick set a personal best at the classic with a time of 51.97 in the 100y freestyle. The meet will follow the traditional schedule of morning prelims and evening finals with the morning sessions starting each day at 9 a.m. Evening finals begin at 5 p.m. Five to seven events will be contested daily. Footage from the meet will air nationally on NBC on Saturday, December 12 from 2 - 3 p.m. ET. All three days of prelims and finals will also be available for viewing on-demand at http://www.swimnetwork.com/. Below is the schedule of events along with who will be participating in each event.
