Swimming Travels to TYR Pacific Invitational

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State swim team (0-1 Pac-10), will head down to Stockton, Calif. to compete in the two-day TYR Pacific Invitational. The invitational will begin Friday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m., and conclude Saturday, Oct. 18, at 12:30 p.m.

“This meet is a great early season opportunity for the swimmers to go and swim in a lot of events,” head coach Larry Liebowitz said. “It’s not the same as a dual meet where you are limited to only swimming two events and some relays. During the final day of competition, swimmers will compete in the 200 freestyle relay, 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 butterfly, 200 breaststroke and the 800 freestyle relay.
