CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's swim team heads to the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. this week to take part in the 2011 Pacific-10 Conference Women's Swimming Championships Wednesday, Feb. 23 - Saturday, Feb. 26.

Last year at the Pac-10 Championships the Oregon State swim team finished seventh overall beating out northwest rival Washington State. The team of Jenni Dole, Ashley Kerekanich, Ocean Trail and Keri Holmstrom set the Oregon State school record in the 200-yard freestyle at the Pac-10 Championships last year.

The Pac-10 Championships were last held in Federal Way to conclude the 2008-09 season. The Beavers set nine individual and relay school records at the meet in 2009, seven of which are still active.

On the season, the Beavers have tallied 32 individual dual wins by six different swimmers. Dole leads the squad with 13 dual wins, 10 of which came in the 100 and 200 backstroke events. Sophomore Rachel O'Brien finished with 12 dual wins on the season.

Dole set two school records this season in the 100 and 200 backstroke events as well as combined in the setting of the school record in the 200 freestyle relay along with Kerekanich, Trail and Holmstrom.

Tickets for the event will be available at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center on the day of the event only. Gates open at 10 a.m. each day. All Session Passes (Feb. 24-26) are $25 for adults and $15 for students with ID, children and seniors (65 and over). Single day passes are $10 for adults and $6 for students with ID, children and seniors (65 and over). Admission is free Wednesday, Feb. 23.
