Junior Rachel O'Brien is heading to Auburn, Ala. to compete at the 2012 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. She is the lone Beaver that will be competing at the NCAAs this year.

Swimming Finishes Final Day at Pac-12 Championships

The Oregon State swim team finished the final day of the Pac-12 Championships, with three different athletes qualifying for the finals of their respective events.

Swimming Completes Day Three; Athletes Achieve Consideration Times

The Oregon State swim team completed the third day of competition at the Pac-12 Championships in Federal Way, Wash. Several Beavers achieved NCAA consideration times in their respective events.

SOPHOMORE (2010-2011): Competed in seven events: 50, 200, 500 and 1,000 yard freestyle, 100 and 200 yard butterfly and the 100 yard backstroke ... Recorded nine dual wins during the season ... Competed in ten meets during the season ... Was one of two swimmers on the team to qualify for the NCAA Championships ... Finished eighth overall in the Pac-10 at the 100 yard butterfly finishing with a time of 54.04 ... Finished sixth overall in the Pac-10 at the 200 yard butterfly ... Named to the Pac-10 All-Academic second team.

FRESHMAN (2009-2010): Moved into fourth place all-time at Oregon State in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 54.39 and in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.46, both at the Pac-10 Championships ... Moved into sixth place all-time at Oregon State in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 56.76 at the Pac-10 Championships ... Competed in eight different events during her freshman year ... Participated in 12 meets during the season ... Recorded first career dual meet win in the 100 yard butterfly against USC ... Recorded eight dual meet wins in five different events, three coming in the 200 yard butterfly.
