CORVALLIS, Ore. - With the season set to get underway in less than two weeks, members of the Oregon State softball team will be revealing 20 facts about themselves to osubeavers.com each day as the Beavers gear up for first pitch in 2012. Next up is Marina Demore, a junior from Vancouver, British Columbia. Oregon State opens the year at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz. where it will play BYU, Idaho State, Georgia Tech, McNeese State and Nebraska from Feb. 9-11.

1. Pregame ritual: I always listen to music on my way to the field to help me get pumped. I have so many little things I do before games. I'm a very superstitious person.

2. Now playing on my iPod: "Invincible" by Hedley

3. Love to trade places for a day with: Oprah Winfrey

4. Favorite team to follow as a kid: Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Lakers

5. What actress would play you in a movie about your life: Hilary Swank

6. Favorite spot in Corvallis/on campus: Our softball field. I love being out there playing.

7. Favorite meal: Greek lamb chops with lemon roasted potatoes and a Greek salad

8. If not softball I'd play: I'd be playing either soccer or basketball

9. Two words my teammates would use to describe me: Competitive and shy

10. Road trip I'm most looking forward to this year: Our road trip to Oklahoma for the College World Series

11. Best vacation destination I've been to: Either Paris or Greece

12. Currently reading: The 6th Target by James Patterson

13. Dream job: Pac-12 softball coach

14. My hero: My parents

15. Three historical figures I'd like to meet: Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King and Michael Jordan

16. If I could be a superhero, I'd be: Spiderman

17. Favorite person to follow on Twitter: ESPN or The Notebook

18. Favorite Oregon State team to watch: Men's basketball

19. Favorite Oregon State athlete to watch: I love watching all our OSU athletes, but I really do love watching Jared Cunningham's dunks (men's basketball) and also Camille Saxton (volleyball) and Makayla Stambaugh (gymnastics).

20. My pitching song is: "We Ready" by Ya Boy
