Richardson Named Freshman All-American

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State freshman Jenna Richardson was named to the Soccer America All-Freshman first team as announced by SoccerAmerica.com. Richardson, a White Rock, B.C. native, was named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year following her first season with the Beavers. She was also a Pac-10 All-Conference second team selection. Richardson finished the season tied for first on the team with 23 points and second in goals with nine. She recorded her first career hat trick in a 5-0 victory over Memphis in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Oregon State reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season and finished the year with a final record of 16-4-1 and a conference of 7-2 both program records.
