Women's Soccer Lands Three on All Pac-10 Squads

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Oregon State women's soccer team landed three players on All Pac-10 Conference squads, led by senior Rachael Axon, who was a first-team all-league selection, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
The honor marks the second consecutive year Axon has been named to the all-league squad after earning honorable mention honors a year ago. The senior captain has played and started in every contest for Oregon State this season and is one of only three players to play over 1600 minutes this season. In 19 starts, Axon has a goal and two assists.
Buckland earns all-freshman honors after leading the Beavers in scoring throughout the regular season. The forward came off the bench throughout the season and leads the team with seven goals and 16 points.
Seal picks up her first all-conference nod as the sophomore midfielder ranks second on the squad with five goals. The midfielder has played and started in every contest for Oregon State, logging nearly 1500 minutes on the pitch.
Oregon State returns to action on Friday, Nov. 13, as the Beavers travel to Columbus, Ohio, to face No. 15 Ohio State in the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship at 4:30 p.m.
