NCAA Digital Program
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Fans that are planning on attending the first round of the NCAA women’s soccer tournament this Friday will not have to worry about purchasing a program this year.
The NCAA has provided a free digital version for the 2011 NCAA Division I women’s soccer tournament. The digital version has a QR code that will allow fans to access a free downloadable program with their smart phones right at the field.
In the past, the NCAA has provided printable versions of the tournament programs that were available for purchase to fans at the host sites. This year, the NCAA decided to go digital and provide fans with a free copy of the program through the internet and through the smart phone app that allows fans to read these QR codes.
Fans will be able to find fliers being passed out at the game with the QR code printed for easy access.
Fans are urged to get to the game early on Friday because of the limited number of tickets being sold. Tickets will go on sale at 5:00 p.m. and the gates will also open at 5:00 p.m.
