OREGON STATE: (2004) Jodie begins her career at OSU this fall... coach Fennah's comments: "Jodie is a player with international experience. She's a goal-scorer; she's in the mold of the traditional `get-them-in-the-penalty-area' player and she finds the back of the net. A goal-poacher." ODP: Played two years for the England U-19s. TRANMERE ROVERS (CLUB): Top goal-scorer each of the last two years... seven-year veteran. OLDERSHAW: Won the Merseyside state championship in 2001 and 2002. PERSONAL: Born in Birkenhead, England... daughter of June and Neil Taylor... mother is a dress maker, father is an electrician and maintenance worker... family includes sisters Heidi (23), Katie (21) and twin Chelsea (18)... biggest athletic thrill to date has been representing England with the U-19s against France in the European championships qualifiers... chose to attend OSU "because it has a great soccer program and everyone is so nice. It just felt right." |
