11/02/2011 Beavers Host Oregon in Final Regular Season GameThe No. 21 Oregon State women's soccer team will host the Oregon Ducks on Friday night as part of the Civil War Series, presented by the Northwest Ford Dealers and PacificSource Health Plans. Brittney Sheffield is in her first year as a student assistant coach with the Oregon State women's soccer program. Sheffield played in 37 matches in her first two years for the Beavers and started five of those. She scored a goal against Arizona as a freshman and had two goals and an assist as a sophomore. The Chico, Calif., native graduated from Chico High School in 2008 where she played four years on the varsity soccer team and was a three-time All-Eastern Athletic League selection. Her team won the EAL three consecutive years and she was a member of the Honor Roll all four years. She also played on the Butte United Club team for 10 years. |
