CLUB: Played for Lake Oswego Arete for 10 years ... Was named team captain. HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Clackamas High School in 2011 ... Lettered four seasons in soccer ... Started all four years as a center mid ... Named All-State honorable mention and All-League First Team senior year ... Voted best offensive player after senior year and sophomore years ... Injured junior season but voted most inspirational ... Was All-League Second Team freshman and sophomore years. PERSONAL: Born in Portland, Ore. ... Daughter of Scott and Mary Meiggs ... Father is a business owner and mother is a registered nurse ... Has an older sister, Lindsay, who plays for the Oregon State women's soccer team ... Chose Oregon State because "I've wanted to come here since my freshman year of high school. Plus, my sister goes here and it's really nice having family here, especially a sister on my team again." |
