OREGON STATE JUNIOR (2012) Played in three matches ...Fired off three shots during her 50 minutes of play.
SAN DIEGO SOPHOMORE (2011) Played in two matches... Fired two shots during those contests, one of which was on goal.
FRESHMAN (2010) Played in 17 matches with one start as a forward for the Toreros...scored four goals for eight points...had two game-winning goals, one against Marquette (9/3/10) and the other against Pepperdine (10/29/10)...scored one goal against Minnesota (9/5/10)...scored one goal against Dartmouth (9/10/10)...made her one start of the season against UC Irvine (9/12/10)...helped the Toreros earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB Played two years of high school soccer at Agoura High School...helped lead her team to the CIF semifinals as a sophomore on which she was the team's second leading goal scorer...as a freshman she was the second leading goal scorer...played club soccer for the Surf North U18, Real SoCal U12-16 teams...she was an ODP selection from 2006-08...helped lead her club teams to five surf cup championships, a Nike Cup Championship and a Gothia Cup championship... her team was a Region IV finalist in 2008.
PERSONAL Brittany E. Held was born on January, 29, 1992 in Los Angeles, Calif....she is the daughter of Michael and Stacey Held...was also recruited by Washington, Portland, Oregon State, Washington State...chose to attend USD because of the city, the academic reputation and because she said it was love at first sight on her college visit...her father Michael Held played football at Wooster College...notes that she can speak and understand Spanish fluently.
