The Oregon State women's soccer team recapped their successful season at their annual end of the year dinner banquet.
Senior goalkeeper Colleen Boyd was honored by the NSCAA by being named to the 2011 NSCAA Women's University Scholar All-West third team.
Chelsea Buckland, Colleen Boyd, Jenna Richardson, Brittany Galindo and Ashley Seal were honored today by the NSCAA by being named to the All-Pacific Region Teams.
SENIOR (2011): Started every match in goal in which she played (19) ... Was third on the team in minutes played with 1732.55 ... Named most inspirational player as well as team MVP following her final season in Corvallis ... Earned Women's University Scholar All-West third team honors by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America ... Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention ... Named All-Pacific Region second team by the NSCAA ... Made three saves against Portland in first round of NCAA Tournament ... Stopped three shots versus rival Oregon in final regular season match ... Made four saves and earned a shutout against California ... Stopped season high eight shots against Stanford ... Saved four shots in road match against Utah ... Made three saves without allowing a goal against USC ... Also shutout Colorado, while making four saves ... Stopped three shots in a shutout win in non-conference match with UC Davis ... Netted four saves during win at Portland ... Made four stops in tie with Santa Clara ... Recorded first shutout of the season with two saves in victory against Purdue ... Played 99 minutes in net to record the shutout over No. 3 Florida in the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship ... Made a season-high six saves in a win over Cal State Northridge ... Made two saves in shutout victories over Dartmouth and Arizona.
