OSU Announces 'Dads And Daughters Series'
Aug. 11, 2009
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State women's basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics are proud to announce the "Dads & Daughters Series," a program designed to encourage dads and daughters to spend quality time together while enjoying Oregon State women's athletics. For only $25, a dad and daughter will enjoy tickets to a women's basketball game, tickets to two volleyball or gymnastics events, and t-shirts. Each additional daughter is $15 and receives the same benefits. All tickets are general admission. Registering for the program will save 30 percent off of the single game ticket price alone.
Program participants will attend a women's basketball game against either Seattle University on December 18 or against USC on February 13. Participants will also attend two of these events: volleyball versus Oregon on October 2, volleyball against USC on November 21, gymnastics versus Washington on January 22 or gymnastics against Kentucky on March 19.
"We are very excited about bringing central Willamette Valley dads and daughters together," said head volleyball coach Terry Liskevych, who has a daughter that plays soccer at the University of Wisconsin. "It is always important to spend quality time with your daughter, and as an added bonus she can see and identify with the great role models we have in Oregon State women student-athletes."
