 Chong Talks About Leadership Conference ExperienceIn late May, senior-to-be Laura-Ann Chong spent several days in Orlando at the Walt Disney World Coronado Springs Resort to attend the NCAA Student-Athlete Development Conference. Chong was OSU's lone representative in 2009 at the prestigious leadership conference. Recently, the 2009 All-Pac-10 selection took time to talk about her experiences in Florida.[+] Future OSU Gymnast Wins National ChampionshipOregon State gymnastics recruit Makayla Stambaugh won the Level 10 Junior Olympic national championship title in the all-around in the Senior D division Saturday. Stambaugh also tied for national titles on the uneven bars and balance beam. Fellow recruits Kelsi Blalock and Leilani Alferos also enjoyed successful performances at the national meet.[+] Oregon State to Host 2011 NCAA Gymnastics West RegionalOregon State has been selected to host the 2011 NCAA Women's Gymnastics West Regional Championships as announced recently by the NCAA.
