ERIE, Colo. - The tandem of Seshia Telles and Lauren Sewell concluded their sophomore campaigns in spectacular fashion on Saturday as each shot their best score at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf West Regional to lead the Oregon State women's golf team in its final round of the season.

The Beavers shot their best round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament on Saturday, posting a 17-over 305 at the par-72, 6,575-yard Colorado National Golf Club, to finish in 22nd place with a 72-over 313-318-305--936. The tournament concludes Oregon State's season, which included four top-5 finishes and its first trip to the NCAA Regional in six years and just its second in the past nine years.

Telles and Sewell each have two years of eligibility remaining and proved the future is bright for the Beavers as they both had three birdies on Saturday to finish with a 1-over 73 and 2-over 74, respectively. Sewell was Oregon State's top individual finisher with a 15-over 77-80-74--231 for a tie for 85th place , while Telles improved each round to finish in a tie for 92nd place with a 16-over 82-77-73--232.

One big loss for Oregon State next season will be senior Whitney French, who shot a 7-over 79 on Saturday and finished the tournament in a tie for 92nd place with a 16-over 75-78-79--232. French has been a Pac-12 All-Academic selection two times (and is guaranteed to make it a third time when announced later this month) and concludes her career third in scoring average and second in rounds played.

Two other returners next season include junior Rachael Fischer, who finished in sole 119th place with a 28-over 79-83-82--244, and freshman Anica Yoo, who finished with a 29-over 83-83-79--245 for 120th place, to wrap-up one of the best seasons by a frosh in Oregon State history.
