12/11 (Sunday) at Cal Poly (at Cuesta College), 1 p.m.

Oregon State Visits California> Oregon State makes the trek to Southern California for two duals this weekend. The Beavers visit CSU Bakersfield Saturday at 5 p.m. and Cal Poly, at Cuesta College, on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Media> Live stats are expected to be available for the dual against Cal Poly (but not CSU Bakersfield) and the link can be found by visiting osubeavers.com. Also, follow wrestling on Twitter.com/OSU_Wrestling for updates as well and a full story will be available on osubeavers.com after each dual’s completion.

Climbing> OSU wrestlers Mike Mangrum (141) and Clayton Jack (HWT) are climbing in the rankings. Mangrum is third nationally by Intermat while Jack is fourth. Both rankings are the highest of the season.

Seven Wrestlers Ranked> Mangrum and Jack are the highest ranked of the 10 Beavers expected to compete this weekend, and overall, seven will be rated in the top 20 by Intermat. Of those seven, five (Mangrum, Jack, Scott Sakaguchi, RJ Pena and Taylor Meeks) are the highest of all wrestlers from the Pac-12. Ty Vinson (174) is third while Garrett Drucker (133) is second.

Against The Opponents> Oregon State will be looking to avenge last season’s loss to Cal Poly. The Mustangs’ victory at Gill Coliseum snapped a 17-dual win streak for the Beavers; their last non-win came in a tie in 1991. OSU, meanwhile, will be looking to extend a three-match win streak against CSU Bakersfield.

All-Time> Clayton Jack has 95 career wins at OSU, placing him in a tie for 20th all-time at OSU. His 35 pins, meanwhile, are good for ninth in school history. Mike Mangrum, meanwhile, has 69 victories, and needs one to break into the top 50 all-time at OSU.

Meeks As In Pin> Taylor Meeks is 12-2 this season, suffering his first two defeats this past weekend in Las Vegas. But the redshirt freshman has certainly impressed this season, as evidenced by his No. 14 ranking according to Intermat. He is 3-0 in dual meets this season, picking up pins in all three bouts. Two of the three have come in the first round.
