Q. You are majoring in math. What made you decide to focus on that subject?

I decided to focus on math because the subject has always been easy for me and I enjoyed my math classes in high school. I am also majoring in Spanish. I decided to study that subject because knowing a second language is beneficial in getting hired for a job.

Q. What do you plan on using your majors for after you graduate?

I plan on becoming a high school math teacher or possibly a high school Spanish teacher.

Q. Is there a part of math you enjoy studying the most?

My favorite area of math is finding derivatives and integrals of functions.

Q. What are some of the activities you participate in outside of wrestling?

I tutor other student-athletes and I try to go to some of the SAAC meetings.

Q. When did you start wrestling and why?

I started wrestling when I was in 3rd grade because my dad wanted me to get into the sport.

Q. What was is about Oregon State that made you decide to come here?

The reason I chose Oregon State was because when I was a freshman, there were a lot of other Hermiston wrestlers here and I wanted to join them.

Q. True or False: You have run with the bulls twice in Spain?

True. I ran twice this past summer. It was a blast and I would definitely do it again if I had the opportunity.
