WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The honors keep rolling in for Emery Welshman in the wake of his big weekend at the Hensor/Zaher Nike Classic. The senior has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for his performance in the Beavers' two wins.

He achieved the Beavers' first hat trick in four years in the team's 6-1 win over UW-Green Bay on Friday evening on his way to a seven point night. On Sunday, he scored a golden goal in the 102nd minute to break a scoreless tie with UC Irvine. On the whole, Welshman had four goals and an assist on nine shots, seven of which were on goal. He tallied the game-winning goal in each contest.

This is his second-career weekly honor, as he was named player of the week for the week of Oct. 4 last season. This is OSU's first weekly honor this season and 17th all-time player of the week.

On Monday, Welshman was awarded the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Player of the Week and was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, while also garnering National Offensive Player of the Week honors from College Sports Madness.

The Beavers (5-2-1) moved up eight spots in the TopDrawerSoccer.com tournament projections this week. OSU now sits at No. 26.

The team opens Pac-12 play on Sunday afternoon at Washington. The game is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start and will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
