CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men’s rowing team has released its schedule for fall 2012 and on it are three events that the Beavers will be competing in at sites around the nation.

Steve Todd’s crew starts the 2012 season during the weekend of Oct. 20-21, when they travel to Boston to take part in the Head of the Charles. Following their trek out east, the Beavers return to the west coast to row in the Portland Fall Classic, the following weekend, Sunday, Oct. 28th. The Orange and Black men wrap up the fall campaign with the Head of the Lake in Seattle, slated for Sunday, November 4th.

The Portland Fall Classic and the Head of the Lake are return competitions to the OSU men’s schedule as they competed in both events during the 2011 fall season. This will be the first time the Beavers row on the east coast during the fall since 2006, when they traveled to Philadelphia and then to Princeton for separate competitions.

Pre-season training camp begins for head coach Steve Todd and his athletes on Sept. 17, when they travel to Eel Lake near Coos Bay, Ore.
