Oregon State senior Wyatt Worrel was part of the Pac-12 Men's Rowing All-Conference team as announced by Commissioner Larry Scott Thursday.

Worrel (Austin, Texas/L.C. Anderson HS) has been a mainstay in the Beavers' Varsity 8 boat for most of the last three seasons primarily providing power from the 5-seat. Worrel helped to lead a youthful crew to impressive victories over the University of Victoria, Gonzaga and UC San Diego this season.

“Wyatt has done a great job for us over the last four years,” head coach Steve Todd said. “He’s been a good leader for the team and was a solid everyday competitor.”

Members of the all-conference rowing teams are based upon each institution's finish in the Varsity 8 championship race at the Pac-12 Championships, which were held May 13 on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.
