CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State senior Alex Moore shot a 1-over 72 on Thursday at The Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield, Ariz., and is tied for 20th place heading into Friday's final round of the Patriot All-America Invitational.

Moore is 10 strokes off the lead with a 1-over 71-72--143 in the inaugural event that includes the best 84 amateur golfers in the world and benefits the families of fallen and disabled American heroes.

The Folds of Honor Foundation is the designated charitable partner and every competitor will use a golf bag during the tournament with the name of a fallen or disabled military hero embroidered on the bag. The bag used by Moore will be sent to Oregon State head coach Jon Reehoorn after the tournament to be auctioned off with all proceeds designated to the Folds of Honor Foundation Scholarship Fund.
