Corvallis, Ore. -

Former Oregon State All-American running back Steven Jackson of the St. Louis Rams has been named to the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl Team, the second time in his career.

Despite playing for the 1-14 Rams, Jackson ranks second in NFL for rushing yards (1,353) and is fourth in yards from scrimmage (1,675).  Jackson has topped 100 yards rushing a career-high seven times this season.  He topped 1,000 yards for a franchise-record fifth straight season this year, and since the start of his first Pro Bowl season in 2006 has averaged a league-high 124.1 yards from scrimmage per game.

Jackson, who accounted for 3,625 rushing yards in three seasons at OSU, was a 2004 First Round pick of the Rams.

The Pro Bowl is scheduled for Jan. 31 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami.
