Siale Hautau Inks to Join Football Squad

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State head football coach Mike Riley announced Thursday the signing of junior college defensive tackle Siale Hautau (pronounced see-ALL-a HOW-tau) to a national letter of intent.
Hautau is a 6-foot, 315-pound transfer from Snow College in Utah and registered 20 tackles, including seven tackles-for-loss and three sacks in seven games in 2012. Hautau took a two-year LDS Mission to Guatemala prior to his arrival at Snow.
Hautau is a native of Salt Lake City, graduating from Skyline High School where he was a 5A First Team All-State selection as a senior.
Hautau is the second player to sign during the mid-year transfer signing period for junior/community college football student-athletes joining Steven Nelson, a cornerback from College of the Sequoias.
