Jacquizz Rodgers Earns Camp All-American honor

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State University sophomore running back Jacquizz Rodgers has been named second team All-America by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Rodgers, a 2009 Pac-10 First Team selection, rushed for 1,377 yards and a school-record 20 touchdowns in helping the No. 16 Beavers to an 8-4 overall record and a berth into the 18th annual MAACO Bowl Las Vegas. For the season, the 2008 Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year, scored 21 touchdowns and added 509 yards receiving.
Oregon State returns to the practice field Mon., Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. in preparation for its school-record fourth consecutive bowl game. The Beavers are the first ranked Pac-10 team to ever play in the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas and will face the No. 14 BYU Cougars Tues., Dec. 22. The team will practice in Corvallis Dec. 14-18, before embarking for Las Vegas.
Oregon State is headed for a school record fourth straight bowl game when the Beavers play in the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Dec. 22. Tickets are available now to 2009 Beaver season ticket holders by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS or online at osubeavers.com -- deadline to receive priority status is Dec. 9. Ticket orders for all Beaver fans is available now. MAACO Bowl Las Vegas tickets are $50 each and each order will have a $35 handling charge. Tickets will be shipped by Dec. 15 via UPS Next Day Air. All ticket orders will be allocated using Beaver Athletic Student Fund (BASF) order priority.
