This week on Beavers All Access the crew checks in on the Olympic sports, as the football team has a bye Saturday. Men’s soccer standout Danny Mwanga talks about escaping from war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo and men’s rower Robert Hannah set a world record.
The 30-minute show, hosted by five-time Oregon Sportscaster of the Year Mike Parker, makes this week's debut on FSN Northwest at 5 p.m. Wednesday,
There is some football to be covered as co-host Steve Preece analysis last week’s big victory over Pac-10 Conference leading Stanford, tight end Joe Halahuni is featured and a one minute highlight of Parker’s touchdown calls for the 2009 season wraps up the show.
Beaver Sports Talk resumes this week Thursday from McMenamins on Monroe in Corvallis. The 7 p.m. show features this week's everyday champion, Melissa Peck of the women’s soccer team, and football student-athletes James Rodgers and Keaton Kristick fill in for head coach Mike Riley. The public is invited to attend as part of Beaver Chalk Talk or you can listen over most of the Beaver Sports Radio Network.
