Non-Conference Football Games Added to Schedule

Corvallis, Ore. - The Weber State Wildcats and Nevada Wolf Pack have been added to future football schedules, Oregon State Director of Athletics Bob De Carolis announced Thursday. Weber State of the Football Championship Subdivision’s Big Sky Conference will travel to Reser Stadium for the 2015 season opener, tentatively set for Sept. 5. This is the only non-conference game currently scheduled for the ’15 season and will be the first meeting between the two schools in football. The two-game series with Nevada begins Sept. 16, 2017 in Corvallis and concludes Sept. 15, 2018 in Reno. Oregon State has won all three previous meetings, including a 28-13 victory in Reno in the 1999 season opener in the most recent game. The 2017 and ’18 seasons also include non-conference games with Minnesota. The Beavers resume action Sat., Oct. 1 at Arizona State in a game that can be seen live on FSN Arizona and Fox College Sports beginning at 7:30 p.m. The contest will reair on Root Sports NW at 5:30 p.m. Sun., Oct. 2.
